Fuchse Berlin signs multi-year deal for Catapult Focus application

SBG, a Catapult company, is excited to be named the official video analysis software provider for Fuchse Berlin, who have signed a multi-year deal to use Focus, our next generation video analysis system.

The Fuchse Berlin coaching team will be the first handball team in Germany to use  Focus, which will empower Fuchse Berlin to record multiple video angles in the stadium and training ground as well as enable interactivity and touch control for pitch-side interaction. Key information and incidents are identified by tagging and clipping video. The synchronised footage is instantly accessible for presentation and review by coaches, medics, and players to analyse performance.

“From the first moment we saw Focus we knew that this would have a major impact on the way we do analysis and will be key to transforming the club’s performance strategy,” commented Fuchse Head Coach Jaron Siewert. “To have access to all the video angles of training and matches with real-time visualisation of crucial game moments will be game changing for our team.”

Niklas Wasserman, Sales Director DACH & Eastern Europe at Catapult, says “We are very excited to embark on a new partnership with Fuchse Berlin, more sports are starting to understand the benefits that our innovative solutions can bring to the table. We will work closely with the team at Fuchse Berlin to help them become better analysts, improving performance and delivery for the team”.
